Oily macerates with Plantes et Cie

Information

Description

Oily flower macerates are natural preparations obtained by infusing flowers in vegetable oil. The flowers are generally harvested when ripe and macerated in a quality vegetable oil for several weeks, in order to release their active principles into the oil.
Oily flower macerates are used in cosmetics for their moisturizing, nourishing and soothing properties for the skin. They can also be used in aromatherapy for their calming, relaxing or stimulating properties.
The flowers most commonly used to prepare oily macerates are rose, lavender, calendula, chamomile and arnica. Each of these flowers has specific properties and can be used to treat different skin conditions or to help relieve different symptoms.
Oily flower macerates are generally used pure or mixed with other natural ingredients to prepare creams, balms, lotions or massage oils.
They are very appreciated for their nourishing power and their softness on the skin.
