Description
The process of making kimchi involves cutting Chinese cabbage into small pieces and sprinkling it with salt to clear it. Then the spicy sauce is mixed with the vegetables and the mixture is left to ferment for several days at room temperature or in a cool place.
Kimchi is a very nutritious food, rich in vitamins and fiber. It is also considered beneficial for digestive health due to its probiotic properties through the fermentation process.
Kimchi is usually eaten as a side dish with rice dishes, soups, or grilled meats. It can also be used as an ingredient in dishes such as noodles or omelettes.
