Cosmetic products with donkey milk from Camin'âne

Stéphanie, a donkey breeder since 2017, has gradually built up my herd of 26 donkeys, which I raise on the Coiron plateau in Ardèche, between Darbres and mainly in Berzème.

“In the herd, each individual has its role. There are walkers with good feet, who are suited to short or long-distance hikes; others with their peaceful and gentle souls who are suited to animal mediation with vulnerable or disabled people; and the largest and most robust ones, for carrying heavy loads. And the next generation! A few young foals that I train and who will stay with the herd to work and take over from the next retirees.
Then there are the mothers who offer me their milk during the milking season.” It was during the weaning of a young donkey that I discovered that milking was a moment of true sharing, where a relationship of trust is established between the mother, the breeder, and her young. This is how the story of Camin’âne cosmetic products began…

I started milking a donkey in the summer of 2023 and I entrust the milk to the soapmakers laboratory at Les Savonniers aux Mages in the Gard region, which specializes in processed products.
I have chosen, and you will find among these products, a face cream, a body lotion, a shampoo, soaps, and a solid shampoo.
