Equestrian farm Le Relais de Vazeille

Deep in the Southern Ardèche, close to major tourist attractions (Vallon Pont d’Arc, Ardèche Gorges, Chauvet Cave), immerse yourself in the heart of unspoiled nature. Our regularly trained horses will lead you with their sure steps through the oak scrub or along the vineyards, along ridges or deep in valleys, for an unforgettable ride and gallops.
A barn with six stalls allows for safe and sheltered training.
The panoramic 50x30m arena is ideal for beginners to gain confidence or to improve their riding skills on the flat, over jumps, on varied terrain, and to discover the methods of natural horsemanship.
For trail rides, groups are limited to two riders (+ the guide), and for lessons, up to three riders are permitted.
Riders may not exceed 80 kg in weight; Beyond that, a “ethological riding” session (work on foot alongside the horse) may be offered.
We welcome children from 12 years old; riding is not suitable for younger children.

Passionate about horses, I have always wanted to share my interest in these extraordinary animals. I never tire of learning more about their abilities and sensitivity every day and I am committed to helping my clients discover their ability to feel our emotions and heal our flaws.

A few hundred meters from the gîte, you will discover grape varieties characteristic of our terroir such as Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay... You can, if you wish, book a horseback ride to take you there. We will also be happy to recommend some winegrowers who can help you taste their production and share their passion with you.

When you book at the same time accommodation and equestrian activities, you get a discount on ridings.
