Description

Paris, 1928. Antoine Balestro, a young painter grieving a loss, can no longer work. One drunken evening, he tries to contact his deceased wife through a fortune teller, unaware that he is actually speaking to Suzanne, a carnival worker who has slipped in to steal food. The deception works, Antoine finds his inspiration again… but Suzanne falls in love with the man she is manipulating.
