Chez la Nonna

Le Mas de Malavas proposes you its lodging on the farm “Chez la Nonna”.
You will be welcomed by an artist-farmer couple, the Ferme des Cochons Nomades.
In the middle of the countryside you will enjoy a comfortable gîte renovated by us in an old Ardèche farm.
With a surface area of 75m2 on one floor with a capacity of 6 people.
A 36m2 south-facing terrace adjoining a bright kitchen, a relaxation lounge and two bedrooms with private bathroom and toilet make up the charm of this gîte.
A space “under the trees” with barbecue, hammock and deck chair is available to tenants.
You can enjoy the Ardèche, its rivers, its caves, its characterful villages.
Beyond the tourist aspect, you can visit family farms (milk, bread, wine, poultry, etc.) which make this country so charming.

Between Montélimar and Aubenas, the gîte “Chez la Nonna” has the particularity of being on a working farm.
La Ferme des Cochons Nomades raises and processes free-range pigs, transforms them and sells them at the farm and at the “la Musette” producer store in Aubenas.
This cottage renovated by us with quality materials offers all the necessary comfort. Indeed, each room has its own bathroom (one with a shower, the other with a bathtub) and its private toilet.
The kitchen opens onto a south-facing terrace and allows you to enjoy the view overlooking the surrounding countryside.
The living room combines the modern with the old thanks to its old stone wall.
This gîte maintains a pleasant coolness even in the hot hours of sunny Ardèche days.
It is of course possible to visit the animals and share a moment of peasant life if you feel like it.
The farm has one hectare of adjoining flat land and a 50m2 space “under the trees” is available to tenants.
It is possible to eat there and relax in the deck chairs and hammock. This space overlooks a small football field and a large trampoline with free access.
From the gîte it is possible to go on foot or by bike to visit the surrounding area, swim in the river or visit the surrounding villages (Saint Jean le Centienier, Villeneuve de Berg, Saint Maurice d’Ibie, etc.).
On request, bicycles can be made available.
By car, the Pont d’Arc cave is 45 minutes away and the characterful villages of Ardèche are also close to the accommodation.
You will have access to useful information regarding activities to do, markets to discover, swimming places, hikes and sporting activities.
