An adventure in the footsteps of Germain, the shepherd who discovered the Grotte de la Madeleine in 1888. An expedition combining caving in the undeveloped parts of the cave and hiking in the heart of the Ardèche Gorges.

Les Coulisses de la Grotte de la Salamandre
The cave holds many a hidden treasure but some are fragile and kept out of reach. Les Coulisses allows you to visit them, if you’re willing to make the effort. This beautiful tour is fun and accessible to all, although it’s a bit of a physical challenge!
