Here we make the chestnut cake "Lou Pisadou" and the Ardèche baguette, both certified by the "Goûtez l'Ardèche" (Taste the Ardèche) brand. We also make pogne (a type of brioche), homemade macarons, and flour from "Le Petit Mitron".
Castanea – Discover the world of sweet chestnut
Castanea tells in great detail the story of how for centuries, entire generations daily lives revolved around chestnut trees, both for work and for food. Find out more about this emblematic "bread tree". Castanea is located in a beautiful former convent in the medieval town of Joyeuse. The museum shop offers you a wide range of local delicacies, postcards, books....

Located at la Roche Chérie, the neck is accessible by car in following the little hamlet. You can park you on the site. It is situed between 2 ledges of basaltic rocks. For the future: extension of the crossroads and parking.
