Activities as part of the Images and Words of Africa festival

As part of the Images and Words of Africa 2025 festival, the Culture en Fait association is partnering with Ardèche Afrique Solidaires, the media library, and the La Pinède sociocultural center to offer you a festive and charitable event.

3 p.m. to 8 p.m.: African Market
With association and craft stalls, refreshments, and an exhibition.

4 p.m.: A Great Escape with Thierno Diallo
Tales and Legends of a Wise and Mischievous Africa
Show for all ages, ages 6 and up.
In those days, the dog and the monkey were great friends. They decided to travel together to
the Land of Men…
Thierno Diallo was born in Senegal. He tells tales from Africa and beyond, for children and adults alike.
5:00 PM: Snack
5:30 PM: Feedback from the children’s workshops
Dance and percussion performance with Tobi and Tialou at the leisure center. Illustrations created during the workshop led by Christian Epanya at the media library.
6:00 PM: Cocktail Reception – Concert with Joyous Africa
The artists in this group are musicians, dancers, and singers. Talented professionals, they present a repertoire of rhythmic melodies, but also sometimes tinged with melancholy and sweetness. With their magnificent dance moves and warm, captivating voices, they will transport you to the dark continent!
