Screening of the documentary "Chronicle of the Stolen Land"

In Caracas, Venezuela, slum dwellers can obtain land ownership in exchange for sharing their life stories in their neighborhoods. A decree by Chavez initiated the writing of the “Cartas del Barrio” (Night Letters), revealing the history of an entire section of the capital.
The documentary immerses us in the epic struggle of two women from Caracas’s working-class neighborhoods fighting for their land. A poignant political immersion and unparalleled insight into a country in turmoil.
