Le Neck en Musique
Information
Description
Vocal and instrumental groups will bring music to the famous volcanic rock in the village of Sceautres.
For this occasion, the Neck Choir invites the “La Clé des Chants” choir from Allan. These singers, already renowned in our region, will undoubtedly be eager to share their passion with the audience. Indeed, in this first part of the evening, their program will combine the elegance of beautiful classical music with the originality of themes from various parts of the world, not forgetting a few magnificent French songs.
The generosity, youthful energy, and smile of Noélie, an exceptional guitarist and singer, will enchant her audience at the very foot of the rock. Her warm, sensitive, and shimmering voice will perform, accompanied by her guitar, some beautiful French and English songs from recent years.
The Neck String Trio (a quartet last year) will be performing a repertoire of film music this season. These famous themes, such as “Out of Africa” and “Jean de Florette,” will evoke vivid and beautiful images for the audience.
The Ibie’s QuarTêtes group, accompanied by clarinets, will get everyone dancing to swing, tango, waltz, klezmer, and more—a moment blending gentleness and energy!
Accompanied by the QuarTêtes clarinets, the singers of Trad’Vocal will perform excerpts from “Ballads Through Time.” From Rutebeuf to Queneau, French poetry will be celebrated. Musically illustrated, this poetry will be presented with delicate flair.
Finally, for the finale, the audience will be the main character, with the support of all the performers. This year, Neck en Musique will close its twentieth edition with “Hymn to Love”!
A refreshment stand will be available between performances. Entry is free and everything takes place inside this magnificent village of Sceautres, which you can discover or rediscover!
