Jan Bojarski, a young Polish engineer, sought refuge in France during the war. There, he used his talents to forge documents during the German occupation. After the war, his lack of legal identity prevented him from patenting his numerous inventions, and he was relegated to low-paying odd jobs… until the day a gangster offered him the chance to use his exceptional skills to counterfeit money. Thus began a double life for him, unbeknownst to his family. Very quickly, he found himself in the crosshairs of Inspector Mattei, France’s top cop.
