Description

Wednesday, March 18: Screening of the film STORIES OF THE GOOD VALLEY (Original Version with Subtitles)
In partnership with Ardèche Images
On the outskirts of Barcelona, Vallbona is an enclave surrounded by a river, railway lines, and a highway. Antonio, the son of Catalan factory workers, has been cultivating flowers there for nearly 90 years. He is joined by Makome, Norma, and Tatiana, who come from all walks of life… To the rhythm of music, forbidden swimming, and budding romances, a poetic form of resistance emerges in the face of the world’s urban, social, and identity conflicts.

Thursday, March 26: Screening of the film WE THE ORCHESTRA
Preview screening followed by a Q&A with the director
After his documentary LES INDES GALANTES, Philippe Béziat will be presenting his new film in a preview screening! How can you play together without feeling lost in the crowd? How can you coexist for so long without the group imploding? What role does the conductor really play? For the first time, cameras and microphones sneak among the 120 musicians of the Orchestre de Paris, under the baton of their young prodigy conductor, Klaus Mäkelä.
