Grotte de Saint-Marcel-d'Ardèche

With 60 km of galleries la Grotte St Marcel is one of the biggest caves in France. You will discover huge rooms and galleries following a former underground river in a 400m long circuit. Sound and light shows. Huge halls and a waterfall of about 100 calcite basins, unique in Europe !

Since 2013, local winegrowers age part their best wines in the cave, 80m underground. Wine tasting, (AOC wines Côtes du Rhône /Côtes du Rhône Village and local produce), wine tasting and speleology… Visual and gustative pleasures !

Spelunking all year round.

Outside : a botanical path called « le chemin de la grosse pierre » (2,8 km).

From 03/04 to 04/07/2021, daily between 10.30 am and 6 pm.

From 05/07 to 19/09/2021, daily between 10.30 am and 6.30 pm.

From 20/09 to 31/10/2021, daily between 12.30 pm and 5 pm.
