It is one of the highest villages of our territory; it is placed as a real eagle nest. There is, unfortunately, only the tower of Marnas remaining from the old castle. This quadrilateral tower is a former dungeon of the XIIIth century. The small church -which was mentioned from the middle of the Xth century- was rebuilt several times and enlarged. Its steeple protects an ancient portal. This one is made of a “doubleau” with one in sandstone and the other in sandstoned limestone sculptured acanthus leaves, human and animals’ figures. Besides those architectural particularities, the village is rich in outdoor activities.
